Earth Day in Chase County

Hello, I'm new to the forum. I'm Elexa Dawson and I live in Cottonwood Falls.
This is the second year we'll be getting together for Earth Day. We will have a potluck picnic at 6pm in the backyard of the Millstream Resort Motel and Lodge on the Cottonwood River. After that, we're looking forward to some music, some announcements and a musical jam session.
My original vision was to provide a local food meal, but I haven't found the resources to do that yet. We would love anyone who would like to talk about local food resources, the benefits of being a localvore, etc. to come out and give a short talk, spread some information, or just enjoy the day with us and get involved in the conversation.

Let’s celebrate Earth Day by the Cottonwood River! Potluck picnic at 6pm. Entertainment, Information and Fellowship to follow! Bring a picnic dish, your reusable dishes, lawnchairs and instruments if you want to jam. We’ll make the iced tea!
