Senate is yet to consider the bill this fall. There are very serious ramifications if this bill is enacted and enforced. All farms and food processing facilities including Grandma's jams and jellies will be subject to inspections, steep fees, and fines under these new sweeping regulations that do NOT address food safety issues in any meaningful way: http://www.farmtoconsumer.org/news/news-30july2009-2.html
