Rain barrel construction class

I attended the rain barrel construction class sponsored by the Flint Hills Vo-Tech College and taught by Harrison George. I found it very helpful to have a hands-on, visual presentation, and the opportunity to make my own rain barrel. I was pleased with the outcome. I expect to make many more rain barrels for my own collection system. The experience was well worth my time and money to attend. I believe everyone would benefit by learning more about rain water collection and the basics of "how-to" construction. The advantage of shared knowledge in the group and free discussion spawned some good ideas for innovation and adaptation to various applications. Good stuff!

I heartily concur with Shep's assesment of the Rain Barrel class. I had a great time, learned a lot and took home two rain barrels! I look forward to taking more FHTC courses in the future!
