The purpose of the Emporia Area Local Food Network is to promote the production, processing, preservation and consumption of local food. Locally-raised food promotes sound economic, environmental, social and nutritional health within our community.

Mission Statement Empty re: EALFN Mission Statement

The Emporia Area Local Foods Network's mission statement was reviewed, discussed, amended (slightly) and approved at the Mar. 17 general meeting. The mission statement now reads:

"The purpose of the Emporia Area Local Foods Network is to promote the production, processing, preservation, and consumption of local foods. Locally-raised foods promote sound economic, environmental, social, and nutritional health in our community."
