Possible event related to ESU research course
I've just joined EALFN and I'm hoping people will be interested in a potential local foods event. I'll be teaching a history course at ESU from August to December where the students will do individual small research projects related to food. This seems like the perfect opportunity to introduce them to local foods networks, sustainability, etc. AND it's the perfect opportunity to share the results of their research projects. I know there's a community event planned for September; would people be interested in another one at ESU in late October or early November? I have no idea what my event would look like. At this point I'm just trying to gauge interest.

If you're looking for community events off campus at that time, The Harvest Fest is scheduled for October 10. It's at the Farmers' Market and is cosponsored by Main Street. SATO from ESU participated last year and I believe they plan to do so again. The Art Mobile and the Emporia Rec Center, Hetlinger and others also participate.
I'm curious about the "community event" in Spetember. What's that? Details please!!!
