Salmonella in Pot Pies - one more reason to buy fresh & local

Salmonella in frozen pot pies prompted recalls, but no determination as to which ingredient(s) or their sources were responsible. Consumers told to "safe kill" with excessive microwave temperatures for food safety, but tests show recommended temps can't be accomplished without burning the crust black.
